Just after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, Local members responded to a semi accident with entrapment on the ramp from northbound I-25 to northbound E-470. When members arrived, they found a semi on its roof with the driver pinned inside. Lone Tree HazMat Incident
An attempted fuel theft resulted in a diesel spill and hazardous materials response in Lone Tree on Monday morning of August 1st. Just before 11:30 a.m. Local members responded to 8457 S. Yosemite St. after a box truck with a leaking fuel tank was discovered. Members quickly patched a hole in the tank to prevent more fuel from spilling and they checked a nearby storm drain where diesel had pooled. On the afternoon of Monday July 25th, Local members responded to a serious traffic collision that closed southbound I-25. The incident was dispatched at 12:20 after 911 callers reported an injury accident involving a semi. When members arrived, they found a split scene with traffic driving through the middle. Castle Pines North Urban Interface Fire
In the afternoon of July 17, 2022, Local members responded to reports of a 10x10 grass fire behind Rita Place in Castle Pines. The incident was soon upgraded to a Wildland Interface Fire when it was reported to have spread closer to the homes that backed up to the open space. Once members were on scene, they used hose lines and hand tools to quickly contain and extinguish the fire. No injuries occurred and the cause is under investigation. Incident Photos

Chatfield Reservoir Dive Response
July 16, 2022, 3:51 p.m. - As a storm front moved into the area bringing gusty winds, 9-1-1 Dispatchers received reports of a party who had fallen into Chatfield Reservoir and was yelling for help. Local 2086 members started to search for the party and find the last known location. A shore group and a diving group were strategically set up. Castle Pines North Vehicle vs. Residence
When a trash truck hit a residential garage in Castle Pines North, Local members were quick to size up the situation. With a little creativity, some double-T support construction, and a lot of sweat, the crews were able to safely shore up the home. There were no reports of injuries. The investigation is being handled by the Douglas County Sheriffs Office.
