Centennial Airport Plane Crash
At 10:42 a.m. on November 9, 2022, Local members responded to Runway 10/28 at Centennial Airport after a Van’s RV7 airplane experienced an accident while departing. Airport Operations personnel quickly arrived and confirmed that both occupants of the aircraft were safe and uninjured. Members from the Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF) Team assisted with securing the plane and crews mitigated a small fuel spill.
